Suspension was unchanged. The weight was noticeable, but the finished 240 was still lighter than my 280. I didn’t like the handling with the rear pack up between the seats, but when it was dropped down into the rear hatch it made a huge difference. I think I like the handling slightly ass-heavy.
The diesel was a yanmar clone, changfa I believe. The 240 turned out to be too small a frame for a hybrid configuration. In order to come out looking professional I’d need either a much more compact genset or a lithium pack that was much more compact. Or both
